Can I Colour My Hair on the Same Day?
If you would like to colour your hair on the same day as your Nanoplasty treatment, we generally recommend using a semi-permanent or ammonia-free colour.
These colour products are gentler on both the hair and scalp and are less likely to affect the freshly treated hair. Semi-permanent colour is ideal for refreshing your existing shade, adding shine, or toning blonde hair while helping to preserve the smooth finish achieved with Nanoplasty.
Can I Cover My Grey Hair After Nanoplasty?
If you need to colour your grey regrowth, we recommend waiting approximately one week after your Nanoplasty treatment.
During this week, wash your hair several times before your colour appointment. This allows the hair to settle naturally after the treatment before applying permanent colour.
For most clients, colouring the regrowth only is the safest option, rather than applying permanent colour through the entire hair.
Can I Bleach My Hair After Nanoplasty?
If you’re planning to bleach your hair after Nanoplasty, we recommend waiting at least one to two weeks.
The longer you can wait, the better.
Waiting gives your hair time to stabilise after the treatment and helps maintain the smooth, shiny finish that Nanoplasty is designed to provide.
When bleaching after Nanoplasty, we also recommend avoiding aggressive bleach application on the mid-lengths and ends whenever possible. These areas are often the most fragile and excessive bleaching may increase the risk of dryness or breakage.
